A vintage galvanized water pot or Matki. Originating from India where they were traditionally used by families to carry and store water from local wells. Handcrafted from metal panels, often iron, which are skilfully beaten into shape and then riveted together. Today, due to their unique rustic charm and weathered patina, they are used as decorative pieces either in the home or garden and can be used as vases for flowers, or planters. Holes in base for drainage.
